Going Pro at the Wedding Shows!

Yikes! We are exhibiting at The National Wedding Show in Excel in a few weeks! 13th and 14th October to be exact.  I say yikes as we’ve not yet exhibited at any wedding show let alone such a prominent platform as The National Wedding Show.  So, at this stage, it’s all a bit scary but also uber exciting.

To be honest with you, I’m not feeling prepared at all but I’m looking forward to the opportunity to meet lots of couples and their families, get a first look all the latest wedding trends and just be a part of a great event……..that I’ve not planned!

When I started Bumble Events, many moons ago, I always planned to get out there and join the super polished professionals at exhibitions but each year has found us knee deep in events and weddings when the shows come round that by the time we’ve had some down time it’s been too late to get organised.  This year really isn’t any different however, I took some time to breath, finally found my mojo and thought better late than never. And now, with just a few weeks to go, we’ve decided to give it a crack! You can see why I’m just a little bit shell shocked.

I’m currently trying to work out how I want our stand to look. Do I keep it simple or go really extravagant?  Should I add florals and table décor or just set up a mock bar, ply people with prosecco and let my wonderful personality shine through. Hah – the options are endless.

I really want the Bumble Events stand to look professional, welcoming and fun as that’s what our brand is all about.  I’ve changed my mind three or four times already but think I’ve just about settled on the design I want.

I’ve also had a look at some of the profiles of the vendors exhibiting and it’s promising to be a really impressive selection of wedding professionals so a great opportunity to come along and get ideas for your wedding.

I remember booking my wedding photographer (Adebayo Deru) after seeing him at a wedding show in Stratford Town Hall and being seriously wowed by his work.  My husband, who really wasn’t that bothered about photography, even managed to get enthusiastic and was willing to part with quite a few more pennies to have Adebayo shoot our wedding over the photographer that we initially planned to book.

A lot of wedding vendors run special offers only available to those booking at the National Wedding Show so if you’re in the market for a photographer or florist get yourself down and get ready to barter.  Certainly, we will be offering 10% off all packages booked by attendees so it’s a great time to book our wedding planning and on the day coordination services.

We have 10 pairs of tickets to give away…..yes, that’s right. Give for free so if you’re interested in attending then drop us an email or contact us on our social media sites.

If I’ve not enticed you enough yet then check out the website for the show.   www.nationalweddingshow.co.uk

It really does look awesome

We will be in stand B16 so come by and say hello.  Let us know what you think of the stand and what’s appealing to you at the show.

Bye for now and hope to see you there!
